FAQs About Family & Group Surf Lessons in Taghazout
What is the minimum age for kids to join a surf lesson?
We welcome children from the age of 10+ years old, provided they are comfortable in the water. Our instructors keep young children in shallow water where they can touch the sand at all times.
What is the maximum group size for a private instructor?
To ensure safety and quality coaching, we assign one instructor for every 4 or 5 students. If your group is larger than this, we will simply provide a second private instructor at no extra cost to maintain a safe ratio!
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing a towel, sunscreen, swimwear, and a positive attitude!
Do you provide hotel pickup?
At the moment, hotel pickup is not available. All guests are kindly asked to meet us at our surf shop in Taghazout. We’re centrally located and easy to find—feel free to contact us if you need help with directions.
How do I pay for my lesson?
All payments are made on-site (cash), before the lesson starts. You can pay in cash (local currency or euros)
Are there any hidden costs?
No hidden costs! Equipment, safety gear, and instruction are included. Just bring your essentials like sunscreen and a towel.
What if people in our group are at different skill levels?
No problem! This is the beauty of a private group lesson. If someone in your group is a total beginner and another has surfed before, your private coach will tailor the feedback to each individual while keeping you surfing in the same general area.
Do I have to bring my own surfboard or wetsuit?
Nope — we provide all the equipment, freshly cleaned and ready for you. Just bring your swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen.
What language are the lessons taught in?
Our instructors speak English, French and Arabic to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported.
What if I need to cancel my lesson?
We have a flexible cancellation policy. Let us know in advance, and we can reschedule or refund according to our terms.
Do you provide changing facilities or showers?
Yes — we provide a place to change before and after your lesson. In some spots, showers are available too.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there’s convenient parking close to the surf spot or our shop location, so arriving is stress-free.
